Life Together
You are the watchmen on the wall of the Kingdom of God wherever God has placed you on that wall. You who believe in Christ have also been anointed by the Holy Spirit and your calling is to pray – all day and all night – never be silent-take no rest – and give Jesus no rest. You are not to give The Lord any rest, but you are to continually pray to the Lord about all the problems, all the difficulties and difficult people you see from your vantage point on the wall of the Kingdom where God has placed you. You are where you are on the wall of the Kingdom of God for a purpose and that purpose is to pray others into the Kingdom through the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.
John 15:16 – "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another."
My challenge for you this next week is to do one thing. Pick one difficult or challenging person that troubles your spirit the most - the one person that bothers you the most – and pray for them – turn them over to Jesus – and be ready for whatever God may have in store for you regarding sharing the love and grace of God with them either in word or deed. Remember, God's grace extends to everyone.
This coming Sunday we are delighted to hear from the Verhoek family as they share their testimony on their immigration into the USA from Holland in 1957 and how PBPC came alongside their family to support them during this extraordinary time in the life of their family.
